Cherry Hill Laser & Skin Care Center Hosts Fund Raiser for The Adam Taliaferro Spinal Cord Injury Foundation which raises money for people with Spinal Cord Injuries.
Camden, NJ (1888PressRelease) January 09, 2009 - Cherry Hill Laser & Skin Care Center hosted an Open House Fund Raiser for The Adam Taliaferro Foundation. This Foundation raises money for people with Spinal Cord Injuries. The evening was a huge success. Botox Injections were demonstrated. Laser Hair Removal, Fraxel and Laser Tattoo Removal treatments were also demonstrated. Everyone had a great time and won gifts and prizes. The top prize was 25 units of Botox. 10% of all proceeds were donated to The Adam Taliaferro Foundation. Adam Talaiferro autographed copies of his biography and spoke about his journey back from a devastating neck injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Adam was a highly recruited high school football player. He started for Penn State as a freshman and was critically injured during a game with Ohio State . No one thought that he would walk again, but he battled back with great courage and determination. He just graduated law school and will be working for a firm in Philadelphia . His story is very inspiring and he formed his Foundation to help other people with spinal cord injuries pay for their medical treatment and assist devices (wheelchairs, ramps) if they can’t afford to pay for them themselves.
